Bioenergy Promotion 2 has successfully handed over to the Council of Baltic Sea States at set of recommendations on developing and disseminating sustainable bioenergy systems in the Baltic Sea Region.
Integrated solutions of the production and use of bioenergy contribute to sustainable use of resources across a number of sectors in economy both in urban and rural areas, and has vast potential in terms of economic gains for both cities and rural local communities.
The International Conference "From strategies to activities – Good practice examples of regional bioenergy promotion" that will be organised in parallel with the 9th International exhibition „Environment and Energy 2013” will present the best practice examples of bioenergy promotion in Baltic Sea region.
